I had always thought He said that out of fear, being in human form. Even though He was no doubt scared and/or dreading the crucifixion, I now see because of this video that He was referring back to the Psalms containing King David’s prophesies. I appreciate the many parallels Pastor Doug points out- the continuity between the Old and New Testaments is very reassuring. It’s nice that the 23rd Psalm immediately follows, because it includes the same reassurances Jesus gave us.

YOU TELL THEM PASTOR DOUG ! !!
SHAME TO THOSE FALSE PASTORS WHO EVER SAID SUCH FALSEHOOD ABOUT JESUS STATEMENT ON THE CROSS ! !!

JESUS STATEMENT ON THE CROSS IS NOT A LOSS OF FAITH ! !! ABSOLUTELY ABSURDITY FOR PASTORS AND TEACHERS TO SAY TO PEOPLE THAT GOD'S OWN BEGOTTEN SON LOSS FAITH! !!
JESUS CHRIST DID NOT NOT ! EVER LOSE FAITH ! !! JESUS CHRIST, GOD THE SON THE LAMB OF GOD ! !!

This was awesome Pastor Doug! I've often wondered about this very thing. All I could come up with were speculations. Thank you so much for unveiling these truths. Can't wait to pass it on. God bless you!

Should watch the video before commenting friends… Pastor Doug says in no way did Jesus lose His faith, and then teaches why

Im fearful of my son living by himself, he’s 30 but he’s never been completely alone before, and he’s prone to depression and anxiety , please pray for him… he knows Jesus but has become discouraged since he went to college, he got on the wrong track and he likes to drink too much…. Please pray for him as we his family is praying for him.
Thank you

Gladly in agreement with the others who posted before me. The subject of faith is on my mind most of the time, as I ask God to forgive me, I am also thanking Him for his faithfulness. Jesus told (Simon)…, me, the devil wanted to sift me as wheat, but I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not: and now that I am converted, He leads me in strengthening my brethren. Because we cannot please God without faith, how could we ever think for a moment that our Lord and Savior lost his? Let God be magnified.
Sincerely, Te

Was the thief on the cross in paradise that SAME DAY wirh Jesus? The verse you showed has the 'comma' BEFORE saying "...today you will be in paradise..."

All the Bible translations have the comma before Today. The Adventists explain it away because they don't believe the spirits of the saved go immediately to Heaven

Jesús never lost His faith. He is God himself! Don’t even try to suggest it.

Wondering, friend, if you listened first to the video? Pastor Doug explains it fully. You are correct, He didn't lose His faith. ❤️

My belief is NO...I think what happened was when Jesus said basically My Father why have you fordaken me? This was when ALL SINS were placed on Jesus and God had to 'turn away' because He can not look at sin.
