In this continued series on the life of David, this sermon looks at Saul's anger and desire to kill him. In the same way Christ was persecuted by Satan and just as Saul tried to spear David, Jesus was pierced for our transgressions. David repeatedly escaped from the hand of Saul. All of David's earthly supports are taken away and it prepares him to be a godly king.
