In my opinion I believe from reading Hebrews chapters 1-2 pretty much rules that out. The author of Hebrews (Paul?) strongly argues against angels being equal or even succeeding Jesus. I think because of the high regard angels were held, the author felt compelled to explain on in the whole of chapter 2. I like how Hebrew 2:16 in the KJV has " ...He took not on the nature of angels..." the newer translations seem to change the whole meaning of the verse whether that was their intention or not. They render it "aid, help and etc. To me that changes the authors point in his argument in the superiority of Jesus to the angels. Thanks for reading.

Jesus is not Michael the archangel. The Bible nowhere identifies Jesus as Michael (or any other angel, for that matter). Hebrews 1:5-8 draws a clear distinction between Jesus and the angels: “For to which of the angels did God ever say, ‘You are my Son; today I have become your Father’? Or again, ‘I will be His Father, and He will be my Son’? And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says, ‘Let all God’s angels worship Him.’ In speaking of the angels He says, ‘He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire.’ But about the Son He says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The hierarchy of heavenly beings is made clear in this passage—angels worship Jesus who, as God, is alone worthy of worship. No angel is ever worshipped in Scripture; therefore, Jesus (worthy of worship) cannot be Michael or any other angel (not worthy of worship). The angels are called sons of God (Genesis 6:2-4; Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7), but Jesus is THE Son of God (Hebrews 1:8; Matthew 4:3-6).
Michael the archangel is perhaps the highest of all the angels. Michael is the only angel in the Bible who is designated “the archangel” (Jude verse 9). Michael the archangel, though, is only an angel. He is not God. The clear distinction in the power and authority of Michael and Jesus can be seen in comparing Matthew 4:10 where Jesus rebukes Satan, and Jude verse 9, where Michael the archangel “dared not bring a judgment of blasphemy” against Satan and calls on the Lord to rebuke him. Jesus is God incarnate (John 1:1, 14). Michael the archangel is a powerful angel, but still only an angel.

The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit are all one they are all God !!
As a true Christian will no God showed himself in 3 ways but to answer the question raised
God himself created a human form of himself threw using the Virgin Mary and known as Jesus but one question that always is asked is why does Jesus not say in the bible he is God and the answer is that he never does say he is God that's why people get confused but to keep things short if Jesus was to say he was God under Jewish law at the time he would of been stoned to death and would not of lived long enough to die on the cross for our sins that was the soul purpose of Jesus coming to earth to be born without sin and to die without sin so all who sin would be saved through Jesus himself !

The angels are called "The sons of god" Jesus is the sun of god. in genesis, It is also mentioned that Satan was around from the beginning. They are both described as a lion. They are both the morning star. They both show up on a white horse. They are both into fire thunder and lightening.

Thanks for your comment. We invite you to read the following: https://www.amazingfacts.org/media-library/book/e/85/t/who-is-michael-the-archangel. Blessings!
Caller : Are God and Jesus the same person and if so, why does the Bible make them sound like two different people? Thank you.

Pastor Doug : All right, thank you David. Is God and Jesus the same person. God is made up of three persons. There are three persons in the Godhead. The Bible speaks of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Is Jesus God? Yes. He’s God the Son. And now let me give you some Scriptures. The Bible says in the Beginning God made the heaven and the earth and the Bible says God said, “Let Us [plural] make man in Our [plural] image.” Later in Genesis chapter 11, speaking of the Tower of Babel, God came down and said, “Let Us go down and confound the man’s language.” And then earlier God says, “Man has become like Us, to know good and evil.” He [man] was driven from the Garden of Eden – so God refers to Himself as plural.

The Bible tells us that in the beginning God made the heaven and the earth. You go to the New Testament, speaking of Jesus who is The Word says, “All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.” And that’s the Gospel of John, chapter 1.

Co-Host : Right.

Pastor Doug : So you’ve got a lot of places in the Bible where Jesus is identified as God.

Some of the characteristics of God are only God knows the thoughts of men’s hearts. That’s in 1st Kings chapter 8. The Bible says Jesus knew what was in man’s heart. The Bible says only God can forgive sin. Well we know Jesus forgave sin. The Bible tells us we’re to worship God only. Jesus was to be worshipped and He received worship, especially after His Resurrection. So the characteristics that God has are described within the Bible, which Jesus contained. He is God the Son. God the Father so loved the world He sent God the Son, who died on our behalf and that’s portrayed in the Storacle of Abraham taking his son Isaac up the mountain. So thanks for your question!
