Coming in March: The Creation or Evolution Summit!

While the Bible says, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1)—the secular science world says, “The universe was spontaneously created out of nothing” (Stephen Hawking).

But imagine suddenly finding a Porsche 911 in your garage. Would you ever think it arranged itself there by chance? Of course not! Its beauty and complex engineering shout intelligent design—and despite what evolutionists want you to believe, our world and the universe really are no different.

The Bible proclaims, “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible. … And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist” (Colossians 1:16, 17). Says Doug Batchelor, president of Amazing Facts International, “The beauty and complexity of the universe and life itself point to a Creator with a purpose for everything, including your life!”

That’s why Pastor Doug is thrilled to be hosting the next Amazing Facts Summit: Evolution or Creation, with great speakers who will uncover the remarkable evidence that points to a loving, omnipotent Creator and share why you can trust the Genesis account of creation.

So, join us as we discover the truth of our beginnings—and what it means for you today. Be sure to bring a friend!

What will be the schedule of this event. I understand that you will be using some geological in formation from Dr. Clyde Webster a retired member of my church in Twin Falls, Idaho. Evidently Doug Batchelor called Priscilla, Clyde’s wife the other day. We want to feature this in our church.

Heather Oellermann. I love and enjoy watching your program. I'm poor and I cannot afford to get a large print NIV. I hope you can help me to learn and know God's word.

We don't normally have Bibles as free offers. But I've sent your name and contact to the free offer department in case they have one laying around somewhere.

Hi, and thank you for this timely and essential resource, especially for those of us who love this topic. It's one of my favorite topics that I usually use to engage those who are not of a Christian persuasion; I can't wait to see it.

Question: What are your thoughts on Genesis 1:1 (gap theory), which some, including many SDA pastors, believe that it suggests that the earth (the actual planet) could have been created billions of years ago (but remained formless and void), but actual creation on it took six literal days. Are they compromising the word, or do they have a point? What about the Sabbath Commandment that literally says that God created "...the...earth..." in six days? Is the fourth Commandment referring to the planet and all its content, or just the content?

Thank you so much,

Rick Ramdon

Yes, the email we sent is the most recent information. This is why we ask people to register so they can get on the mailing list for the event and when we have updates, that'll be aware of them. This news article was posted a while ago before we knew Rich would be coming. We'll update the article!

I have a question that may not have an answer this side of heaven, but there may be an answer, just one I don't know of. I believe it's true that ALL life on earth requires water to survive? Do we have any way of knowing when the God/Jesus created water? I'm stumped on that one.

Genesis 1:1 affirms that God is before all else and that He is the one and only cause of all else. This verse is the foundation of all right thinking in regard to the material world. As to when water was created, all we can definitely state is that God created it. Day 1 of creation we see light and dark. Day 2 we see a separation of air from water. Day 3 land appears. It will be exciting to watch God create the earth anew after it has been cleansed (Revelation 21:5). In heaven we can ask Jesus when water was created!

Will there continue to be access to the programs after March 29? Those of us in the Eastern Time Zone have a hard time staying up late enough to watch the program live. And, I know I have responsibilities in church on the 29th. Other people probable have responsibilities, also.

Love the TV show. Record, watch, and often save some for future referrance or to share.

In Reading Rev. 20 I've come to the conclusion that when Jesus comes again only the martyrs will be raised. The rest of the dead are raised together, believers and non believers, to be judged. Believers then go to Heaven and unbelievers to the fire. Clorrect? I haven't heard Doug say that.

The Scriptures write about two main resurrections: resurrection of life (first resurrection) and resurrection of damnation (John 5:29; Acts 24:15; Rev. 20:5, 6). Perhaps you'd like to read our Bible study on the millennium as it gives the sequence of events surrounding these resurrections:

I am so excited! I have the magazine and was going to share after I finished it. A summit is so much needed. I am a creationist but I didn't realize so many people I talk to really believe in evolution.
