“Therefore you shall be careful to do as the LORD your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. You shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and
that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess” (Deuteronomy 5:32, 33).
In a culture full of moral compromise, sometimes even church members are tempted to buckle under the pressure. Whether from the constant messaging of mainstream media or the peer pressures that come with social media, it can take real
courage to stand for God’s unchanging Word.
So to help God’s people boldly stand for truth in these difficult times, Amazing Facts International will present an all-new Amazing Facts Summit series called “Holding the Line,” a two-day revival event.
Says Doug Batchelor, president, “We are living in a culture that is clearly spiraling downward morally. The Word of God is viewed as a collection of fables, the marriage covenant as an antiquated institution, and divine Creation as a
ridiculous concept. This revival summit will be a powerful, faith-affirming reminder that we must earnestly contend for the faith if we desire to be called the people of God.”
Along with Pastor Doug, speakers for the event include:
• Ted Wilson, president of the General Conference
• Cliff Goldstein, editor of the Adult Sabbath School Quarterly
• James Rafferty, director of discipleship ministry for 3ABN
• Risë Rafferty, MS, RDN, 3ABN health ministries
Each speaker will address areas of drift in the church and how to hold the line of truth against a culture pushing God’s people to compromise on vital issues in our day.
“Holding the Line” will be broadcast live, April 21 and 22, from the Granite Bay Hilltop Church, 6605 Sierra College Blvd., Granite Bay, CA 95746. You are welcome to join us in person or watch the livestream on AFTV, 3ABN, YouTube, and
Facebook.
Please pray for this faith-building, hope-filled weekend series. And be sure to let your friends, family, co-workers, and church community know about “Holding the Line.”
