Should Christians marry non-Christians? What does the Bible say about being unequally yoked?

When Pastor Doug as been asked about this, he's written, "It is true that the Bible tells us to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Cor. 6:14), and that is of the utmost importance when choosing a marriage companion. I believe this includes marrying someone of a different denomination. I have been a pastor for many years and in my experience I often see tremendous conflict arising because of spouses who hold different views on theological and spiritual issues. Also there are different lifestyle issues that become predominant when people marry into a different denomination. The blending of two lives is difficult at best, and the more two people have in common to start out with, the greater the likelihood that they will be able to have a successful relationship."

Yes, but what if your spouse changed faith? I married my husband 10 years ago, and then a little over a few years later his faith and his views on seventh day adventism changed. He now believes that Ellen White is a false prophet and SDA is a cult. He claims that he belongs to a non-denominational church. He wants me and our kids to not belong to any church that has label or name. I really miss the times where we go to church together...now, kids and I just stay home while husband is at work on Sabbaths.
