Elisha: Vessels in the House

Scripture: 2 Kings 4:1-7

This sermon is on Elisha and the widow's oil. Elisha, in this story, is a symbol of Jesus. The widow represents the church. We are sold into slavery to sin that we cannot pay. We can learn that debt is a curse to be avoided. We also see God has mercy on the poor. Oil also has a spiritual representation of the Holy Spirit.
