Who are the 144,000?

Who are the 144,000? Where are these people coming from? Information on this is found in Revelation 7 and 14. Some people think they are unmarried, but it is a symbol by being theologically pure. Revelation is filled with symbolism and this number indicates a symbolic meaning. The names of the tribes listed give us a special message.
