W.O.R.D. Center Opening Celebration: Join Us on April 2!

Join us as we celebrate the delayed opening of the W.O.R.D. Center!


After years of planning, prayer, sacrifice, and anticipation, the W.O.R.D. Center—which hosts Amazing Facts International’s offices and the Granite Bay Hilltop Seventh-day Adventist Church—opened in October 2019.

However, due to a severe outbreak of COVID variants, the original opening celebration was delayed out of an abundance of caution. But, praise the Lord, the dedication and celebration event is now set for April 2, 2022—so mark your calendars, as you’re invited to join us in person or online! Please make plans to prayerfully rejoice with us in the Lord’s work and dedicate these new evangelistic facilities to the rapid spread of the three angels’ messages, God’s last warning to a dying world.

A Sabbath full of special events has been planned:

• 2:00 PM:  Open House: Self-guided tour of facilities

• 3:00 PM:  W.O.R.D. Center Dedication

• 4:00 PM: Celebration Concert with Christian Edition, an internationally known and acclaimed men’s chorus


Doug Batchelor, president of Amazing Facts International and senior pastor of Granite Bay Church, says, “Granite Bay was planted as a congregation that would boldly serve a fast-growing region of Sacramento, California, and I’m thrilled that God has enabled us to put down roots, for which we joyfully praise Him.” The church worship facility, which seats 1,500 guests, was also designed to broadcast Sabbath School Study Hour and Granite Bay Church services to minister to those around the world who are unable to attend Sabbath services where they live.

But there is much more to the W.O.R.D. Center campus. Pastor Doug adds, “Not only that, along with a new church wired for media ministry and with international outreach in mind, the offices of Amazing Facts sit right next to the Granite Bay church as a bright, shining light on a hill, and we will use this God-given platform to boldly reach our local community and the entire world with the everlasting gospel.”

Granite Bay Hilltop Church hosted its first major evangelistic event in November 2020, Revelation Now, a 20-part Bible prophecy produced by Amazing Facts, which was seen by tens of thousands all around the world. Along with Pastor Doug, Jëan Ross serves as associate pastor; John Quedzuweit as outreach pastor; Shawn Brummund as family life pastor; and Luccas Rodor as youth pastor.
