More Than a Coincidence


When Laura had children, she wanted them to learn about God. Later, when she had grandchildren, her search for truth intensified. She searched online for answers to her Bible questions and found Amazing Facts programs. Laura became convicted about the Sabbath, God’s law of love, and many other Bible teachings. This video was great, I to have watched Amazing Facts and watch everyday. It is a wonderful program and Doug Bachelor has a presents about him and delivery of the word that just draws you in. He makes it so you can understand the bible and you just know God is speaking thru him what he says makes since. I am now a Seventh Day Adventist for the past two years and have never been happier. My story is similar to Laura's I smoked drank did not go to church. When I lost my husband after 28 wonderful years of marriage I had nothing to live for. I feel Amazing Facts and some help from a family member pointed me in the right direction. After I was baptized the holy spirit came to me and changed my life. Now I surrender all and work hard everyday to walk as Jesus did and follow his ways.

I too discovered the 7th Day Adventist church when I began asking Yeshua WHY Christians kept Sunday as the day of worship versus Friday evening/Saturday as the Sabbath for Jews. It didn't make sense to me that Christianity had changed the original Sabbath, and when I read scriptures, the bible too confirmed the keeping of YHWH's original Sabbath. I knew nothing about 7th Day Adventists when I started attending Saturday church there. I wanted to attend a Sabbath keeping church. Over the past few years, I have learned so much more from the scriptures through bible studies I have had with 7th Day Adventist friends. The scripture confirms what the Holy Spirit laid on my heart to pursue. I fully believe in the scripture where Yeshua said, "Seek and you will find." He is an extremely loving and gracious Messiah.

I just wanted to add that I feel especially thankful for the wisdom the Lord has revealed to me through His Holy Spirit and also friends I've met along my journey. Had I been born into the Adventist faith, I may not be as grateful.
