In the Company of a Wolf

"The sheep's clothing seems so genuine, that the wolf can be discerned only as we go to God's great moral standard..." (FW, 45). The enemy works stealthily to deceive us, surrounding us with falsities of death, of the gifts of the spirit, of mere men having the power to forgive sins. He also floods our minds with guilt and doubt, confusing us about repentance and God's forgiveness... But don't despair, look to Christ ! HE is your standard and your worth !
