Day-Year Principle

Scripture: Daniel 9:1-27, Ezekiel 4:5-6, Numbers 14:34
Lesson: 9
The key to unlocking the time prophecies in the Bible is to first understand the day-year principle of interpretation.

To assume that the "day for a year" principle for all prophecy would mean that the two witnesses would prophesy for 2, 260 years.

Revelation 11:3 “And I will give [power] to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

This is the literal worst possible result for a topical search of the day-year principal - especially for being on the Amazing Facts website. Lets just skip the verses themselves after a half hour of meandering… please update this to something that could actually present the principle usefully intellectually to those who want to witness to those less informed about Biblical prophetic fulfillment. There are 40 some verses that say 1000 years is as a day to God - let’s get on that study to show why the day year principle wins out over such when it comes to prophecy BEFORE reading Daniel 9 please because it’s actually not the easiest thing to prove AS we read Daniel 9, and only becomes easier afterwards. Not looking for reason to want to believe something is what the Bible says; looking for definitive reasons to show proof through study of what the Scriptures actually said.

IS THERE NOT BOTH LITERAL AND SYMBOLIC BIBLE PROPHECY/ SOMETIMES A DAY FOR A YEAR AND SOMETIMES A DAY FOR A DAY.
