The Anointed

Scripture: Luke 4:17-21

This sermon speaks about anointing in the Scriptures with a special focus on Jesus Christ, the anointed one of God. Not only were symbols of Christ anointed in the Old Testament, but we are called to anoint those who are seriously sick. The oil we anoint with does not heal, it symbolizes the Spirit.
