One of the world’s oldest rock forts can be found in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. Called Malaikottai locally, it was built under the reign of King Mahendravarman I in the sixth century. The fort was constructed on a 273-foot-high outcropping of rocks. In India, such forts were built high above the cities below to serve as lookouts for enemies. 
But unlike these temporary fortresses, Amazing Facts in India is built on God’s eternal Word. King David wrote, “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer” (2 Samuel 22:1). As we face the challenges of ministry in the great country of India, we are comforted by Jesus’ words: “The rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock” (Matthew 7:27).
Multiplying Resources to Reach More Lives
Another set of Study Guides has been completed!
We are so grateful for the countless hours that our translators, proofreaders, layout team, and others have spent creating the full set of 27 Amazing Facts Study Guides in the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. We are in the process of making them available on our website and have printed most of them for distribution as a set and through the Correspondence Bible School course. 
Currently 500 students are enrolled in the Correspondence Bible School in four languages: English with 165 enrolled; 83 in Hindi; 55 in Tamil; and 197 in Telugu. All these souls are being fed with the Bread of Life because of your partnership!
We are also in varying translation stages for several other languages: Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, and Urdu, the Muslim language of Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. We are currently looking for translators in the Marathi language, which is spoken by 83 million people in Mumbai and surrounding parts of Western India. We are also hoping to find translators for the Gujarati language, which spoken by over 55 million people in Northwestern India.
Our New Call Center
For the last 22 months, interest in the Amazing Facts India television broadcasts have been increasing; and more and more calls have been pouring in for its free offers. 
It was time for the team to have its own call center, instead of relying on an external source based in the Philippines. By God’s grace and through your sacrificial gifts, the team was able to start building a custom call system and receiving its own calls on the first of February. At the end of the month, 360 calls had come in, 186 of them requests for free books in four different languages.
One caller, after being sent the first Study Guide, even requested the entire set! Thank you for your generous support in spreading “the everlasting gospel … to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people” (Revelation 14:6).
Ministering to Hindus and Sunday Pastors
In late 2020, Amazing Facts India also streamed 87-hours of pastoral training for 50 Sunday-keeping pastors in the south-central region of Andhra Pradesh. The instructors focused on Daniel and Revelation, and the pastors were overwhelmed with joy and excitement to learn the end-time message and even to go on and share these truths with many others.
Determined to Know the Sabbath Truth
As one of our team members was getting ready to go to church on Sabbath, he received a call from a volunteer at the new call center. He told me that a Sunday-keeping pastor called and was disturbed after listening to a sermon preached by Pastor Doug on TV in Telugu.
The topic was the 144,000 and the seal of God. The pastor wanted to come to our headquarters and have an in-depth study on the Sabbath truth. Since he lived quite a distance from us, we tried streaming, but it didn’t work. He then tried to travel to our location, but the lockdown kept him from leaving. Another attempt to meet was stopped because of heavy rains and flooding.
In the meantime, a large Sunday church asked him to go work for them, but he refused until he could study the Sabbath truth. We were glad he made this decision!
Finally, in early December, by the grace of God, the pastor was able to travel the nearly 200 miles by bus to visit us. We arranged for a Sabbath-keeping pastor to come (about 124 miles) to assist in the studies.
Our Bible study ran 11 hours with very few breaks, as the Sunday-keeping pastor was very interested in the study. As our first study was about to end, the pastor shared that he wanted to use every moment of his time with us.
The next day before leaving to his hometown, the pastor exclaimed, “I fully believe on the Sabbath truth, that Saturday is the real Sabbath in the Bible. I will share this truth with my family and will observe it. I will start preaching it to my church.”
Before he left, we gave him more literature on the topic to study and distribute to people in his area. Our hearts have been touched by the persistence of this pastor in learning Bible truth.
